Rachael Davies wins Miss British Isles 2006

Stunning Stoke on Trent model Rachael Davies is Miss British Isles 2006. Rachael won this year's event after beating off competition from 26 other finalists.

The finalists were selected from thousands of girls who had entered this year's event.

Rachael now goes on to represent the British Isles at next years European Model of the Year.

Rachel's prizes include £1000 in cash, £1000 modelling portfolio, a £500 designer dress and a promotional contract.

The Miss Teen British Isles title was won by 16 year old Cheshire model Natalie Turner.

Natalie was delighted as this is only the second time she has entered a modelling competition and last time she was placed a frustrating 2nd.

Natalie now goes on to represent the British Isles at next years European Teen Model of the Year.

Natalie's prizes include £500 in cash, £1000 modelling portfolio, a £500 designer dress and a promotional contract.


The Mr British Isles title was won by Lancashire model John Wade.

This was John's first taste of modelling competitions and was delighted to win.

Howard Smith, Director of the Miss British Isles Ltd commented after the event that 2006 had been a record year with nearly 10,000 entries. The entries had been of an excellent standard this year.
